ACEMM’s Book Study is a community of educators that gather each Thursday evening to discuss books with the goal of improving our own pedagogy and musicianship. These discussions are moderated by ACEMM board members Kate Bright & Liban Gómez.

Current Book:

ACEMM’s current Book Study is centered around Paul Cribari & Richard Layton’s “The Elemental Style: A Handbook for Composers and Arrangers, Part 1.”   We’ll not only learn about elemental composition and arranging, but participants will also have the opportunity to create and share their own elemental pieces.

Meetings will happen every Thursday night via Zoom from 7:30 – 8:30 PM EDT.
