The American Center for Elemental Music and Movement strives to encourage leadership and reward distinguished accomplishments among our colleagues in our field.
Current professionals in the field of music and or movement in public, private or higher education, directors of non-profit community music /movement groups are eligible to be nominated by colleagues and friends for this award. The Center publicly recognizes the excellence these nominees contribute to their local communities in the form of elemental music and movement education. The award is given quarterly.
This annual scholarship is for music educators interested in pursuing studies in elemental music and movement, an accessible approach to music education that develops both personal musicianship and ensemble skills, and has rich artistic rewards.
