The 2024 Beacon Scholarship Application is Open!

Do you have a professional development goal, and need financial help to realize it?

The Beacon Scholarship is for music educators interested in pursuing studies or individual or collaborative projects in elemental music and movement, an accessible approach to music education that develops both personal musicianship and ensemble skills, and has rich artistic rewards. Funds of up to $1000 may be used to assist music and movement educators in furthering their studies in order to benefit the students they teach, including not not limited to courses or training in elemental approaches to music and movement, projects of study that include music and movement, or advanced study or community outreach rooted in elemental music or movement.

Consider applying to this year’s ACEMM Beacon Scholarship, and start imagining the possibilities that can happen when transformative professional development and training experiences are brought back to your students!
