ACEMM’s mission is to elevate, empower, and fund active educators.

Empowering you to shine

  • ACEMM is offering mini-grants to help fund projects and programs that support elemental music and movement opportunities at the local level. The Spark Grant allows teachers to request funding, either complete or partial, for a project that has not been previously funded either by the local education community, other scholarships or grants, or previously budgeted amounts.

  • This award funds up to $1000 to music educators interested in pursuing studies or individual or collaborative projects in elemental music and movement. The appeal of training in and teaching with elemental music is broad, as it incorporates both music and movement, and reaches diverse populations. This scholarship is intended to help music and movement educators further their studies in order to benefit the students they teach.

  • ACEMM seeks to award public recognition to outstanding active elemental music and movement teachers. Recipients are highlighted on the ACEMM website with an article featuring their work and contributions, as well as have their local school administrators notified of their selection. Recipients also receive a certificate of recognition and an engraved personal memento as a recipient of the Spotlight Award.
